You are bound to be busy most days especially if you are a college student. However, sometimes you will feel like you do not have enough time for everything you need to do. Below are some of the best tips for making it through those stressful, hectic college days:
- Be an early riser
Sleeping in will make your days more crazy especially if you will be having a long day. Get to bed early and set your alarm for at least 8 hours, which should be enough and avoid snoozing that button. It is important to start your day as early as possible on busy days. Have a morning routine to motivate you.
- Go to bed early
Try to go to bed early. Get at least 8 hours of sleep, as it is required. Busy days are worse if you are overtired. Getting enough sleep helps your body to handle anything that lies ahead that day. Create a nightly routine to help you relax before settling into bed. This will also help you get a better night sleep.
- Have a plan
Have a planner to plan your days. Grab your planner every morning when you wake up and review everything that you need to get done that day. This is to ensure that you do not miss anything off the list. Cross out each task that you do as the day goes by and make sure you complete all of them.
- Eat healthy foods and lots of water
Always carry your water bottle throughout the day in order to stay hydrated. Hydration will help keep your energy high. If you know that, your day will be super crazy try carrying some healthy snack and you can eat it in between the chaos. Make sure not to skip any meals.
- Take breaks
Working repeatedly without resting is not productive. Schedule your breaks so that you can look forward to your homework or assignments without wandering off. You can check your social media, chat with a friend, read a book, or have a snack during your breaks.
