Money Saving Tips

If you are still wondering how to save money fast, here are the 15 saving ideas that we have listed among our college budgeting tips that may help:

  1. So one of the best ways to save money is to start cooking – This will help you save a lot on your visits to cafes and restaurants. And the food you cook yourself is healthier and more delicious. If you still want to celebrate a memorable date or spend time with a noisy company of friends, try to buy drinks in stores and relax at home. Then you will not have to overpay in establishments because the prices for food and alcohol in bars and restaurants are higher than in the nearest convenience store or in a hypermarket.
  2. Another trick to save money is to bring your lunch – Lunch boxes do not take up much space in your carry-on luggage, and meals that were stored in the refrigerator overnight do not spoil from morning to lunch. For example, salads dressed with mayonnaise can be stored for up to five hours out of the refrigerator, fried or stewed meat, and chicken for up to six. It is more profitable to carry lunch with you, even if you do not know how to cook and use semi-finished products.
  3. Walk More – It is a popular point among all cheap living tips. Spending on taxis, gasoline, or using car rentals doesn’t sound that nice if you compare it all to spending time having some fresh air. Additionally, you can save on a subscription to a fitness club. If you are a student, then your trip to the university is worth a penny. This is a perfect way to cut your expenses.
  4. Do proper save money planning by paying attention to different discounts, sales, or promotions. When it comes to food, you need to pay attention because expired goods may harm your health. Talking about the looks, you can still look good buying something for less money. If you often order essays, check out the discounts we offer to our regular customers.
  5. Student life is unthinkable without some proper rest – nightclubs, cinema, and other types of entertainment. Saving money every week won’t allow you to spend some quality time, but if you arrange something for yourself a few times a month, it won’t do any harm. The entertainment can be cheap and allow you to enjoy yourself without spending a lot of money, so that you could still stick to the saving money plan.
  6. Moving on with the money saving life hacks – You need to find the correct way to manage your finances. Try to divide the sum you have for a month equally for each week and do not spend more than you have. But try not to carry all the sum you have for a month. You won’t even notice how all the big bills become smaller and smaller.
  7. If you buy food from the market, rather than from the supermarkets, you can bargain with the vendors, saving you some money.
  8. Making a shopping list for a month – Such a simple way of saving is contemptuously rejected by many, but in vain. Buying from the list, first of all, you are more or less insured against impulsive purchases (like a massive pack of chips, M & Ms for the promotion, and a bucket of ice cream that you will eat on the very first evening). It is these expenses that subtly undermine the budget. Secondly, you take the food you need in the right amount.
  9. Before deciding to buy a book, check out if it’s available on the Web. Now you can download a lot of literature for free. In case you couldn’t find anything, you can always use the library.
  10. Share an apartment with your friends – This is probably the best way to save for college. Living in a hostel is not suitable for all students, and renting an apartment in a big city will cost a pretty penny. But there’s no reason to be upset: you can always offer some good friends to share an apartment. Although they will remotely resemble a hostel, the conditions in such housing will be more free space here.
  11. Finding a part-time job – A full-time job is usually not beneficial to students’ academic performance. However, you are unlikely to be able to live on one scholarship. Job websites and recruiting agencies can help you find the right job. Temporary work will make it easier to adapt to adult life conditions and hone the professional skills acquired at the university.
  12. Save up getting rid of unnecessary things – Freshmen who have just entered their student days strive to save money just like you. You have accumulated many textbooks, lecture notes, and materials for preparing for exams during your studies. Young students are full of the excitement of youthful maximalism and the desire to gain knowledge in all possible ways, so they will gladly buy things from you.
  13. One more saving advice that is not that obvious is to choose your credit cards wisely – If you cannot avoid the debt, choose a credit card with an interest-free period, with monthly interest on the balance of funds, with the ability to receive discounts in stores when paying with this card. And never delay your monthly payments. The longer you “stretch” your credit card debt, the more it costs you. Interest rates on consumer loans are high. Try to pay off the monthly payment as high as possible. And never take loans in the future. Student loans are a giant trap that will ruin all your money saving techniques.
  14. Cashback platforms – This is one of the easy ways to save money. When you pay for essay online, it is almost always possible to get some of the money back using cashback services. Cashback appeared to tie a client to himself, providing him with additional “buns”. It works roughly like bonus points awarded for purchase – only instead of bonuses, you get real money. Sometimes the share reaches 30%: companies are ready to work with zero or negative, to get a client.
  15. Fitness app – There is always no money and free time for students. So here is the last of our money tips. Most young people, of course, want to look good. What if there is no way to visit the fitness club? Download the 7 Minute Workout application (IOS, Android), which allows you to perform a set of seven-minute exercises at home without special equipment.

Conclusion

By following all these simple rules, you will learn the best ways to save money fast, know how to use it properly, and even put it in your stash. This will bring many rewarding experiences in the future. Don’t forget to find out our topic generator for your essay ideas on our service.

How to Write an Internship Resume?

How to Write an Internship Resume?

When applying for an internship, students should compile a convincing resume. But it might be tricky to compose it. Young specialists normally lack experience, recommendations, and significant professional achievements. Still, they can emphasize their skills and other advantages. This would enable them to differentiate themselves from the rest. The readers of this article, prepared by professionals from our custom essay writing service, will get to know what to put on a resume for an internship and how to structure the paper. They will discover a template that is easy to edit or modify. After reading this text, they can try to consider an organization of any scale and sphere of activity.

What is an Internship Resume?

A student internship resume helps the manager understand who the candidate is and which tasks they can accomplish. The goal of the candidate is to create a positive portrait of themselves, based on their real background and competencies. If you need help writing the resume internship, outsource this task to a paper writing service and let a professional prepare the documents for you.

Newbies often feel uncertain about how to make resume for internship. Which facts should they include in the document? Which information is it better to omit? When compiling a resume, one does not need to be creative. Instead, they should stick to a rational structure.

The employer has 1 minute to glance through the paper. Candidates should organize the information so that their future boss does not need to reread it.

Internship Resume Writing Tips

The answer to the question “How to write resume for internship?” consists of 4 steps:

  • Brainstorm
  • Add contact details
  • Fill in the form
  • Review the document

Below, handy tips from our cheap paper writing service will be listed for each stage.

Brainstorm

One should put down all the educational achievements and the appropriate skills for internship. They need to enumerate the courses that they took and the awards that they received. It would be wise to mention important projects that they participated in either as a leader or team member.

Candidates should use strong verbs to deliver important information. They should avoid wordiness and excessive adjectives. When compiling an internship resume with no experience, one’s wording and abilities to structure the data will serve as proof of their talents.

Once the student puts down all the data, they should look through it once again and select only the meaningful facts. If they submit the resume to several organizations, the notion of “meaningful” might vary. A marketing company might want to know about their experience of working as a waiter because it allowed them to hone communication skills. For a financial company, this fact might be irrelevant.

The applicant should not forget to mention the objective on resume for internship.

Add Contact Details

The contact details to mention in the intern resume include:

  • Postal address
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • The link to one’s LinkedIn profile (and other socnets that are relevant for the intern profile)
  • Personal website

It is better to indicate a university email but not private. The same email should be used to submit the application.

Fill in the Form

When arranging the facts, the candidate should organize them in reverse chronological order. If several events took place simultaneously, the most meaningful ones should go first.

Most likely, the student will need to further shorten the text that they got after the brainstorm. A resume for internship no experience should fit into 1 page. For experienced specialists, a maximum of 2 pages is enough. Employers do not like lengthy resumes because it takes too much time to read them. Plus, the applicant should prove that they can quickly process and prioritize the data.

Review

At the final stage, the candidate rereads the document to identify misprints. They should pay special attention to their resume internship objective and the accuracy of their contact information. If they do not need to submit the resume urgently, it would be reasonable to leave it till tomorrow. The next day, they will glance through it with a fresh eye.

The applicant should show the result of their efforts to people who understand what it is and will not ask, “What is an internship?”. These might be their friends, teachers, or family members. They might notice the mistakes that the candidate overlooked and remind them of the achievements that they failed to mention. Also, they should assess the tone of the writing. Does the student produce an impression of a proactive person? Do they sound confident enough?

What to do Before Sending an Internship Resume?

Once the document is ready, one should not hurry to send it. Our write my essay service team insists on double-checking the following aspects:

  • Which email address should they submit it to?
  • What should they write in the subject line?
  • Are there any other ways to submit the resume? Can they upload it to the corporate website?
  • What is the name and position of the specialist who will receive their resume for internships?
  • What is the correct resume format for internship (PDF, DOCX, etc.)?
  • Do they need to attach additional files, such as their photos or recommendation letters?
  • Reread the list of intern objectives on the site of the company. What if they have changed at the last moment and do not suit the candidate anymore?

It is important to follow the instructions precisely. In many companies, it is computers and not live specialists who receive resumes. If an applicant makes a misprint in the subject line, their email might be rejected.

If there are no internship positions on the corporate site, one might still try to contact the hiring manager. In this case, they should attach a cover letter to their resume. Plus, they need to tailor the document to the needs of that particular business. They should identify what skills and competencies the employer looks the most for. This information can be found in the job offers by this organization. The student should use these qualities as keywords and place them at the very beginning of their resume.

Internship Resume Template

On the Internet, there are hundreds of internship resume examples. In most cases, they have an identical structure:

  • First and last name.
  • Address: street, city, postal code, email.
  • Education. The name of the college, the city, and the state where it is located, the year and month of the candidate’s graduation, their degree, their overall and/or major GPA.
  • Honors and Awards. Scholarships, dean’s list, honor society.
  • Objective. This is an optional field. It can be formulated like this: “To obtain an internship in the sphere of financial technologies.”
  • Experience. Students mention their position, the name of the organization, its address and the dates of the internship. This should be relevant to the internship that they are currently applying for. Lab experience and coursework would fit in this section too.
  • Additional experience. One should follow the same template: the name of the organization, its address, and the dates of one’s work there. Students can talk about their on-campus or part-time jobs. These do not need to be similar to the internship that they are applying to. They do not need to enumerate all the jobs that they have ever tried. Still, they can list the skills they obtained at their previous positions: analytical, interpersonal, communicational, and organizational.
  • Extracurricular courses. Candidates should mention the name of the course, the academic department and the college where they completed it, and the dates. They should list the presentations, papers, and projects that they made in terms of the course. It would be wise to talk both about individual and team accomplishments.
  • Co-curricular activities. Arts, sports, club memberships, and so on.
  • Skills. Foreign languages one can talk, computer languages one can use to code, music instruments that one plays, and so forth.

The document should look neat and visually appealing.

Conclusion

Hopefully, this review came in handy. Now, the readers should know how to compile a resume for an internship. These recommendations, created by our critical essay writing service experts, are relevant for companies of any size and industry. It would be reasonable to apply for several internships because at least one of the applications will be successful.

Tips To Go From Intern To Full-Time Employee

Tips To Go From Intern To Full-Time Employee

Students put a lot of effort into obtaining a coveted internship. But it gives them no guarantee that the company will invite them for a full time position. What should they do? Saying “I need a full time job now!” will hardly be a way out. The readers of this article, written by our chemistry essay writing service experts, will discover tips on how to ask for full time position after internship with high chances to succeed.

Find a Mentor

This is probably the most important prerequisite for successful intern recruitment. Each newbie should establish rapport with a professional who can answer their questions. The intern should be able to reach their mentor not only in the office but also by phone in the evening.

They also should be able to prepare a decent resume or delegate this task to the best essay writing service instead of writing it independently. When an expert explains to a novice how to do things, it helps them to deliver better results from the onset.

Respect the Corporate Culture

Inexperienced graduates who wonder, “do internships lead to jobs?” tend to underestimate the importance of business culture. It does not boil down to the dress code and punctuality. One should also be polite and consistent.

Interns who dream of full-time employment should control their emotions and always remain in a good mood. They should observe the others’ manners and imitate their behavior. Staff employees should feel comfortable in the company of a novice. They should not perceive them as outsiders.

To obtain a full-time position, one should follow the organization’s news and updates. Professionals from our paper writing service online recommend subscribing to the company’s mailing list and its accounts on social networks.

Be Proactive

Active and positively-minded interns do the following:

  • Ask questions not only about full time opportunities but also about other aspects of work
  • Offer their assistance when they see that they can help someone
  • Take part in all corporate events
  • Volunteer outside hours
  • Use every chance to get to know people and show them their skills

Those who want their internship after graduation to be successful should always remain tactful. Proactivity should never transform into obtrusiveness.

Ask for Feedback

Feedback from the supervisor is essential for internship recruitment. Yet, the comments should not be only positive. The intern should strive to hear constructive criticism. They need to realize their weak points. Thanks to feedback, they can learn to improve.

Once the first half of the internship is over, the young specialist should ask their boss for feedback. They should emphasize that they are not too touchy. They need to specify that they want to apply this knowledge for their further progress. Depending on the internship length, young specialists can ask for several mid-term evaluations.

Try to Interact with Other Departments

There might be no full time positions in the department that accepted the intern. Yet other departments might want to hire an ambitious youngster. Corporate events open great opportunities to establish contacts with people from other subdivisions. The intern can order business cards and give them to staffers whom they see for the first time.

There is a meaningful difference between internship vs full time job. When working full-time, one should be versatile and ready for multi-tasking. If the young specialist showcases these qualities, the hiring manager might recommend them to other departments.

Add Value to the Company

This internship advice from our write my essay service might seem tough to follow. The supervisor will hardly assign crucially important tasks to an intern. Yet if the newbie copes well with small tasks, they contribute to the progress of the organization. It is important to show that they are team players and not isolated individuals.

Talk about One’s Goals

In their internship resume, candidates outline their goals very briefly. They mention that they would like to receive “experience.” When socializing with colleagues, it would be reasonable to mention other objectives as well. Interns can talk about the following things:

  • The knowledge they want to get
  • Prestigious business events they want to visit
  • The research they plan to carry out
  • Articles and books that they would live to publish

Those who receive no full time offer after internship often fail to convince their employer of their dedication. By sharing their ambitions, interns prove that they know the industry well. They realize the perspectives of their sphere of activity and their own potential.

Express One’s Gratitude

The best answer to the question “What to do after an internship?”, according to our custom essay writing service experts, is: say goodbye to everyone. The candidates should find time to talk to every member of the staff with whom they interacted. The staffers should realize that the person quitting an internship would be glad to come back as a full-fledged employee. It would be wise to send a follow-up email internship. If people have good memories of the young talent, they will be more likely to hire them.

Conclusion

The above-listed recommendations were relevant for businesses of nearly any scale and sphere of activity. If the young specialist genuinely enjoys the internship, it will be easy for them to follow these tips. But of course, the main prerequisite of full-time employment is professionalism and readiness to work hard.

What Is an Exemplification Essay?

How to Write an Exemplification Essay: Topics, Outline, Example, Tips

So, you were assigned to write an exemplification essay. Where to start and how to write a top-notch paper? The professional team of writers from our essay writing servicecreated a step-by-step instruction to guide you through the process and help you succeed!

What Is an Exemplification Essay?

When you are assigned with this type of paper for the first time, it can seem rather confusing. At this point, you may be wondering how to write an exemplification essay and what it is in the first place. The good news is that if you have ever faced an argumentative essay during your studies, you are already halfway to success. The purpose and main characteristics of such an essay are very similar to an argumentative paper, so even if it feels like you have no idea what is an exemplification essay, chances are that you actually do know.

In a nutshell, just like an argumentative paper, an exemplification essay is written with the sole purpose – to prove something. The difference is that it requires incorporating lots of specific examples, facts, and figures to support your claims. Thus, an exemplification essay is basically a more thorough, solid, and clarifying argumentative essay.

Exemplification Essay Topics

When you know what is an exemplification essay, you are probably wondering how to write it. To get started, you’ll need an inspiring topic first. Just as it is with any other type of paper, choosing the right topic for your exemplification essay is the key to success. To make the right choice, you need to keep in mind the three key tips:

  • Focus on your interest;
  • Do background research;
  • Choose a topic that offers enough scope for further research and building your arguments.

If you keep these three tips in mind, you won’t find it hard to pick a great topic. And here is a list of great exemplification essay topic ideas compiled by our custom essay writing service to get you started:

  1. Should the drugs classification system be overhauled?
  2. Are gun laws tight enough?
  3. Are political polls proven to be fixed?
  4. How should children be disciplined?
  5. Does technology have a negative impact on our lives?
  6. Do politicians care about their voters?
  7. People become less self-conscious with age.
  8. Should medical healthcare be free for everyone?
  9. Should schools enforce any particular religious beliefs on students?
  10. Religion in schools and its downsides.
  11. Why it is bad that developed countries snatch talent from developing countries.
  12. Why humanity is destined to collapse/succeed (Broad topics like humanity’s future, are recommended to be approached with an open and philosophical mind and narrow it down to specifics.)
  13. The impact of rapidly evolving technology in modern society (Companies like SpaceX and Tesla, run by Elon Musk, are a great example to refer to when exploring this domain. With bold predictions of return flights to Mars within the next decade, it is a fascinating matter to wade through.)
  14. The speed of architectural advancement in the age of the internet (People today can experience architecture from the drawn plans which social media implements and the success of the design is gauged by the community reaction. This narrow example does not have to apply only to residential or community architecture, but to street planning and city infrastructure.)
  15. Soccer moms: a plague or a blessing (A mother, so involved in the betterment of her children that she lacks her life agenda. The opposite of parental neglect, perhaps, leads to a lack of freedom and creative expression. In other words, a Soccer Mom can be a positive attribute to a child’s life; but most of the time, it hinders the child’s self-growth.

Exemplification Essay Outline

Basically, an exemplification paper follows the standard essay structure, which consists of an introductory clause, several body paragraphs, and a conclusion. An intro typically consists of an attention-grabbing hook, followed by a clear thesis statement (your main claim). The body of the text should include several (usually three) paragraphs, each stating a specific topic-related point and providing examples to support it. And, finally, a conclusion wraps up the whole essay with all your points and draws a logical conclusion.

Here is a standard exemplification essay layout used as a template by our writing paper service writers:

Now, let’s look at each part in detail.

Exemplification Essay Introduction

An ideal place to start when drafting your exemplification essay would be crafting your introduction. So first, you should make a hook to intrigue the audience into the work and want to continue reading. A hook can be almost anything that drives the reader’s attention and urges them to keep on reading. Some commonly used hooks are rhetorical questions, facts or stats, quotes, etc. If you are not sure how to make a powerful hook, consider looking at a good exemplification essay example to see how others do it. Let our comparison essay writing service team help you with your writing.

Next, it is a good idea to give a brief background into what the topic is about and give details of what you will do.

Exemplification Essay Thesis Statement

Once the opening hook is written and you have introduced the readers to your topic, finish your intro with a clear thesis statement. The thesis’s objective is to gather the entire arsenal and summarize it into a comprehensive plan of action.

It must include but is not limited to:

  • a factual statement
  • observation
  • a personal opinion
  • or a question you intend to answer.

The following is a thesis statement example discussed previously in the topic suggestion section.

“Elon Musk’s energy efficiency revolution is still in its early life cycle; thus its slow progress must be put into a socioeconomic perspective.”

Now, let us put this thesis statement under the microscope.

Topic: The impact of rapidly evolving technology in modern society.

Opinion: Elon Musk’s progress with the transport and energy revolution is slow due to certain socioeconomic boundaries.

Reasoning: Market cost of coal vs. electric (energy), the lack of competition in the electric car market (transport), and the lack of US government’s subsidies into commercial space travel (SpaceX).

While the thesis statement is vague, the use of “socioeconomic perspective” implies a more elaborate description, which the reasoning section of the thesis statement mentioned. Such specifics give room for research and the focus on comprehensive examples as opposed to brief examples.

When formulating a thesis statement, you must distinguish between the type of paper you want to write. Longer works like an IB extended essay need more extensive thesis statements to encompass a wider range of arguments. Whereas shorter essays’ thesis statements can fit in one or a few sentences.

If you are struggling with formulating an effective thesis statement, try applying it to a particular formula to check its validity:

  • “/Object/ acts upon /subject/ because of something.”
  • “Even though /opposing view/ (conflicting evidence), your object still acts upon subject due to certain reasons.”

As you can see, it is quite easy to dissect the essay just by formulating your thesis, and thus giving you a direction when heading into the exemplification essay outline. Remember, keep track of your sources and extract only the most relevant examples. It is much better to use fewer but more elaborate examples rather than many inefficient ones. Make every single one work in your favor.

Exemplification Essay Body

First, plan out which points you have to back up your thesis statement and order them by importance. When writing the body of text, it is a good practice to put the weakest point or statement first, and then end on the strongest one. Remember, it is vital to back up every claim or point with strong evidence in the form of an example.

There are different kinds of exemplification examples types that could be used in an essay:

  1. Brief examples – Could be a smaller and less descriptive, and could generally be a concise idea or concept.
  2. Comprehensive examples – Would be better to illustrate a more complex idea or theme that can’t be described with a brief example.
  3. Personal examples – Are subjective but often taken from the writer’s own experiences and are great to explain the author’s own thoughts and ideas.
  4. Hypothetical examples – Can be described as a fictional example based on real statistics or ideas but is invented generally to help the reader better understand the term or concept. With this method, the audience can visualize the idea better if it is something difficult to picture.

A combination of the two types should be used in the paper to back up points, it is also possible to use many brief examples to support an idea. Try to find as many examples as possible, and later decide, which ones to keep as the strongest evidence.

Include interesting, yet relevant examples. You do not want to list boring findings. If the research is too predictable, this will also not interest the reader, so find good cases to include.

Also, keep the body of the article in some kind of order, either chronological or logical (by importance).

Exemplification Essay Conclusion

When writing the concluding part to an exemplification essay, remember to summarize the key points of the body text first. Do not just copy large paragraphs of supporting details. Instead, offer a short summary.

After the summary and important findings, write a final concluding statement. Then, add something that leaves your audience with some food for thought and makes suggestions for further research (e.g. an interesting question or finding). This can be around one or two sentences long.

The key thing to keep in mind when wrapping up your work is that a conclusion should give the paper a sense of completion so that the reader will feel all the ideas tie up nicely.

Exemplification Essay Grading Criteria

In order to answer the question “how to write an exemplification essay”, it is vital to understand how it is being graded. The exemplification essay is assessed based on specific criteria that define the writer’s ability to research the topic, build valid example-based evidence, and integrate them in their essay.

To write a killer essay that deserves the high grade, a student must know and understand the criteria for evaluation of such work. So, the following is a foundation you need to keep in mind to create a top-notch essay.

  • Thesis

Is it clear and relevant?

Does the thesis adequately unify all subtopics presented in the essay?

Is it well written within the context of the subject matter and the introductory paragraph?

  • Example Quality

Are the examples provided within the paper valid?

Does the author use examples effectively to clarify and explain the concept presented to the reader?

  • The Number of Examples

Are the given examples sufficient when presented within the context of the claim?

  • Transitions

How to Write an Exemplification Essay: A Step-by-Step Guide

Writing an exemplification essay may seem quite challenging, especially when you are facing this task for the first time. However, when you have a good plan, the writing process will be easier and less stressful.

If you are wondering how to cope with this task, use this step-by-step guide as your action plan or order essay paper from our service:

Pick an Exemplification Essay Topic

As was already mentioned, choosing the right topic is already 50% of success. The better the topic is, the easier it will be to conduct research, build arguments, and write your essay.

A good topic should be:

  • Relevant;
  • Useful;
  • Interesting (both to you and your audience);
  • Specific.

Also, keep in mind that your topic shouldn’t be too broad or, on the contrary, to narrow. It should offer enough scope for research and argument-building but, at the same time, it should not be too general.

Conduct Research

Once you have defined your topic, the next step is to collect the material for your essay. Since an exemplification essay is heavy on details and examples, it is vital that you collect a sufficient amount of data to support your ideas.

When researching the topic, make sure to use only valid and trusted sources, such as non-fiction books, or scientific journals.

Organize Your Material

Once you find plenty of resources and data, you should take some time to evaluate your material and prioritize the collected information. To make your paper truly engaging, it is vital that you use valid, significant, and relevant examples that bring real value.

Find a Good Sample

Check out some good exemplification essay examples before you start. Writing an exemplification essay is not that hard if you know what you’re doing. Thus, it is always a good idea to look at a few exemplification essay examples to get a sense of how this work is to be completed.

Make an Outline

There is no need to emphasize the importance of planning ahead. Thus, be sure not to skip this step and create a detailed outline for your future paper. Just as a quick reminder, here is how your exemplification essay outline should look like:

Introduction

  • Hook
  • Background information
  • Thesis statement

Body paragraph 1

  • Topic sentence (the main point of the paragraph)
  • Example 1
  • Example 2
  • Transition

Body paragraph 2

  • Topic sentence (the main point of the paragraph)
  • Example 1
  • Example 2
  • Transition

Body paragraph 3

  • Topic sentence (the main point of the paragraph)
  • Example 1
  • Example 2
  • Transition

Conclusion

  • A concise summary of the essay’s main points and findings
  • Logical concluding statement

Write Your Exemplification Essay

Once you have all the data to support your statements and a detailed outline, you can finally move on to the writing part. Follow the tips and tricks from the Exemplification Essay Example Outline section of this article to write each part of your essay.

Proofread and Edit Your Exemplification Essay

Although many students skip this stage, it is crucial to leave some time to proofread and edit your essay before you submit it. It is recommended to take some time for rest before you move on to editing so that you could look at the text with fresh sight.

Another handy tip is to ask someone else to proofread your paper – a parent or friend may be able to spot some mistakes or inconsistencies that you have missed.

Essay Referencing Simplified

Essay Referencing Simplified

For many students, using a referencing guideline can be a tedious drudgery to suffer when writing papers. For others, good referencing poses a complicated barrier which can cost them marks and even put their academic success in jeopardy. In this post I will endeavor to demystify citation systems and offer a simplified approach to them.

The Role of Essay Citation

What is a reference? Academic writing does not stand alone. Everything that is written contributes to a conversation which has spanned centuries. This is exactly what Sir Isaac Newton was referring to when he made his famous quote about standing on the shoulders of giants. The primary role of all citation systems is to give your readers the means to retrace your steps through this ongoing conversation.

Of course, the other side of this is about giving due recognition to the writers of the work to which you are referring. Personally, I think of this as a secondary purpose. This is not due to any disrespect toward the protection of intellectual property; it is only that I give this respect incidentally. I appreciate having the opportunity to show where my work sits in relation to the greater conversation.

It is plagiarism when a student attempts to pass off work that has already been published or submitted as their own. It is different if someone, a friend, for example, acts as a co-writer who helps you proofread, edit, or produce new work or if you order essay from professionals. However, I am at a loss as to why someone would feel compelled not to reference the work they use.

You are not rewarded for generating entirely original thought, especially as an undergraduate. Regardless of your field of study, you gain respect and marks for two things. Firstly, you are tested for your ability to focus your efforts towards the succinct satisfaction of the criteria of each specific task. Secondly, and arguably, more importantly, your graders want to see evidence in your work that you are engaging with the broader body of academic work and the ongoing conversation it represents. Knowing how to cite references according to the reference format prescribed in the course guide can make this easy.

There is everything to gain by using citation to show your instructors what you have been reading. There is nothing to gain by failing to reference your work.

I want to challenge you to take pleasure and pride in your citation. Your essay reference page is where you show that you are able to surf the databases and use libraries to engage with the literature and find relevant information. This is really the primary practical skill set you are required to master and you demonstrate it through referencing.

How to Cite References

It has to be said that, if you have not already done so, the first thing you need to do is talk with your instructors about the style they expect from you. At the university where I studied, for example, there were eleven different style guides used by the various faculties and schools. They may ask students to write strictly to the MLA referencing format, the APA format for references, Harvard, or Chicago guides. Alternatively, the faculty could ask for a derivative format or special instructions to be followed. Be careful to note that the way we cite our sources in the reference list will be different depending on whether you are citing an essay or a citing a book in an essay or on the prescribed style. Refer to your course guide or talk with someone about it.

The Two Main Referencing Styles

Many of the guides which cover referencing can be said to have derived from either the Chicago or Harvard styles. For example, the increasingly popular APA referencing style is heavily based on the Harvard Style Guide. The Harvard format for references discourage the use of footnotes. Footnotes are notes written at the bottom of the page which corresponds to a small footnote number written at the end of the relevant line of text, in superscript. Since recent changes, the Chicago Style Guide now facilitates the use of either the footnote system or an author-date parenthetical, in-text referencing style, such as is preferred by the Harvard Referencing Style Guide. Both examples of what to do within the text will be followed by examples of how to do a corresponding reference page.

I highly recommend a thorough online publication offered by the University of Western Australia for further details on everything from how to cite an essay in an essay to citing online resources, or 5th edition books compiled by editors according to many different referencing style guides.

Harvard Style In-Text Referencing

In-text referencing as become most common over time. Some say that it breaks the flow of the text, making it more difficult to read and this might be why it is not used on websites like Wikipedia. However, most people would skip over the references when reading a sentence and use them only to reference the source material.

Basically, in the text the writer acknowledges the author by placing their name and the date of publication in parenthesis, at the end of the sentence and before the final punctuation. In this example we will not only look at how to reference a book in an essay but also at journal articles and other sources.

The reader can expect that this is not a direct quotation but merely information from the text. The name and date will correspond with a full bibliographic entry at the end of the essay, under the title, “References.”

If there are more than one source from which the information was drawn, the citations will be listed, separated by semicolons.

You can include the writer or writers in the text, if it is useful for your message, followed by the date, alone in parenthesis. For example:

This reference list example shows the full citations of the cited work in alphabetical order and with a hanging indent.

References (example)

This is just one example, and you will find that the actual style required by any faculty could be different in some respects. This example uses a very succinct table of examples offered to the public by The University of Western Australia. In other implementations of the style, you will find that there will be some small differences, such as years listed in the references might be in parenthesis. It is very useful to find out exactly what the requirements are at your institution.

Chicago Style Footnote Referencing

One of the advantages of footnote referencing is that it allows the writer to get the referencing data out of the way of the text. Instead, it uses a superscript number like this, ’1’ at the end of a sentence in which referenced work is used and then follows up with an acknowledgment of the source material at the bottom of the page, separated from the main body of the text. You will notice that the Chicago reference list format is laid out differently.

Coming Up With Essay Topics Ideas

Coming Up With Essay Topics Ideas

Sometimes just starting our essay writing is the biggest challenge we face as writers and students. This can be especially difficult when we are not given an essay topic. Even creative essay writers can sometimes be stumped for good essay topics when they are staring at that blank page. Sometimes it can feel like staring into a black hole of infinite possibility and infinite emptiness. To facilitate this task, we recommend you use the essay idea generator created by our write my paper service. But let’s look in greater detail at how to pick ourselves up, find a topic, and get started.

How I Feel Makes a Big Difference in How I Think.

We have all heard it before, almost any ideas can become a persuasive essay topics. So, why is it so hard to get started? The first thing we often have to overcome is ourselves and our attitude. Before I begin going through some specific tactics and practical advice for coming up with great essay topic ideas, I want to share with you how I have often gotten out-out of the slump by challenging my attitudes. For me, this has been the key.

I Don’t Have to Prove Myself.

To get grades, I have to fulfill criteria and show how I have listened and read through the course. I do not have to prove my intelligence, and no lecturer gives extra marks to clever students. This might seem obvious, but I will admit to you that I have had some trouble letting this sink in, and I know a number of other students I know have felt similarly compelled to try to prove something about themselves in the topics they choose and how they write about them. This is not as helpful as you might think. Maybe you are an especially clever student, and perhaps you are not, it isn’t important. Trying to think of that perfectly clever topic or question is only going to cost you time and self-doubt, and it won’t give you any returns in grades.

I have to play the mental game.

Perhaps you could write it off as trying to kid yourself when I tell you to tell yourself you love what you are doing and you are excited about the topic. Try reading the biographies of great achievers in sports. They are all telling their stories about playing the mental game. They are programming their minds to push harder, swim faster, and train longer. When they hate it, they remember they love it. When they are tired and want to quit, they realize that they have another 20% always left in some reserve, they conjure in their imagination. I, as a custom essay service writer, also have to play the mental game. “I love this topic.” “It’s going to be fascinating to explore this topic for the next week or two.” If we bring a good attitude to our task, we will find it easier to get an essay topic down and get started refining our research and constructing our argument.

Practical Tactics to Think of Good Essay Topics

When we are looking at that blank page as though it is a mirror of our blank minds, we know we are already in the mental game. If it is hard to break out of that rut with attitude alone, it sometimes helps put some of these practical tactics into play or even buy an essay. Maybe it will be easier to improve our attitude when we see some progress is being made.

I Have to Get Out of Myself and into the Essay Topic

A solitary human can and has come up with a number of great ideas, but all in all, our minds work socially. Sometimes it is a great way to lubricate the gears of your creativity if you can break out of yourself and listen to what is said and thought elsewhere. This much more than looking for an opportunity to swipe an idea from elsewhere. You are very likely to think of something original in response to some other stimuli. We have to start somewhere before we can get anywhere.

Get to Google: Blogs, Vlogs, Podcasts and Forums

I believe essay topics are everywhere. Try the forums of the field you are studying. Maybe you are looking for compare and contrast essay topics, but regardless of what you are looking for there is a lot of inspiration to be found. The best inspiration can be found where people are genuinely enthusiastic about the fields of interest. I would ask Google to show me where the blogs, vlogs, podcasts and forums are. I want to listen to the different ways other people talk about topics in the field for which I want to write my essay. This is where I would start writing my essay topic list, which is just a list of key ideas I hear or read other people are talking about.

Conflict, Conversation and Creativity

Where is the drama? Where are people arguing about the issues of the field? Which ideas do you agree with and which do not sit comfortably with you. Try talking people about your college essay topics. You could even try arguing. Maybe you naturally disagree; perhaps you want to play Devil’s advocate to explore an idea you haven’t given a lot of weight to in the past. This is not only useful in considering argumentative essay topics, but even just for expanding our thinking and exploring a new way of expressing our ideas. Our minds will become more active and creative when we are trying to solve a problem and conflict creates problems that we can then solve. If I do this, it doesn’t mean I want to fight with people, but the conversation and conflict is a great essay topic generator.

Don’t be Shy; Ask for Help on your Essay Writing Topics

Most tutors are happy to talk with students who come to see them well before the due date. Don’t be worried. I’ll let you in on a secret. Intelligence does not make a tutor as happy as being able to think they were the one who inspired greatness in one of their students. Go for it; ask them for college essay help. Find out what sort of topics have been done in the past and ask them what they think are the areas that will be the most useful to focus on in order to keep to the aims of the ‘learning aims’ of the program. They’ll love it.

Good Planning Leads to Easy Essay Writing

This one is not an emergency solution. Nonetheless, it can go a long way towards preventing the problem of writer’s block stopping you from thinking of essay topics for college or school in the future.

Find a shorthand way of recording the key points from the readings you do and the lectures you hear. Make a point of noting where you read or heard them so you can go back to the source later, if the idea leads to inspiration. Right down the thoughts, you have while you study and perhaps you could even keep a learner’s journal of your progression through the program. These notes could be on the cards, in an exercise book, recorded audio or online using a cloud-based note app which you share between your devices. Anyone of your recorded ideas could form the basis of your future essay topic sentence.

How To Make Money Blogging in 2021

How To Make Money Blogging in 2021

Blogging is not just a popular hobby and a means of self-expression. With a proper approach, novices can turn their blogs into a stable source of income. People will need to think in advance about its concepts, topics of the articles, methods of promotions, and monetization strategy. Below, the readers will discover smart recommendations on how to start a blog and make money on it, even if they are complete newbies.

How Much Money Can You Make From Blogging?

The blogger salary depends on one’s diligence, ambitions, and persuasiveness. During the first year of the blog’s existence, it is quite realistic to earn a few hundred dollars every month. The more popular the author becomes and the larger their audience, the bigger their revenue. In a few years, top blogs start to generate over $10,000 per month.

Some people might boast that blogging for money has brought them millions of dollars. For a newbie, this might sound like an overestimation or an unachievable dream. Yet after the blogger starts collaborating with big brands that have large budgets, their opinion might change. Such companies want to make money on blogger. They pay them to promote their goods and services and to attract new customers. In the end, the brands will earn more than the author — but the author will also be very happy with their income.

How To Start A Blog?

There are two ways to make money on blogs: either to launch one’s own website or join a free blogging platform. Both variants have their pros and cons. At first sight, free platforms seem more appealing to people who lack technical knowledge. Yet, it does not take too much time and effort to create a website today, using ready-made templates.

Free Blogging Platforms

WordPress.com, Medium, and Blogger are the most vivid examples of such platforms. These are their primary merits:

  • It takes just a couple of minutes to start a blog here.
  • Users do not need to take care of the technical aspects.
  • The service remains free forever.

However, this might not be the best option for those who want to have a blog and make money. First, the author will not be able to brand it properly. The address line of their blog will contain the name of the platform. Second, their storage space for graphic and multimedia content will be limited. Third, the competition will be tough because there are too many well-known journalists and other content creators on the site. Fourth, the platforms do not allow their users to place advertising banners and share affiliate links. Without these links and banners, it is difficult to earn money from blog.

Create Your Own Website

Even a newbie can create a personal website in just 30 minutes. They might use WordPress or another service with ready-to-use templates. This will be the best answer to the question “How to save money on building a website?”.

If compared to free blogging platforms, personal sites are better suited for money making. Users can customize them as they wish. They can share links, add banners and invent creative monetization strategies.

The administration of free platforms has a right to ban users’ blogs. This happens very rarely when someone violates the rules of the project. If the blogger uses their own website, no one will be able to delete their content.

Free platforms are fine for those who consider blogging as a means of self-expression. For serious business, one needs to make a site. Advertisers and other partners will be more eager to collaborate with the owner of the site.

What To Blog About?

Those who are launching a blog for money should try to cater to the vastest possible audience. The topics they will write about should be interesting not only for themselves and their closest friends. They should be truly passionate about the subjects they will discuss. Otherwise, they might get bored too soon and abandon the project.

They need to be experts in their field and find an unusual angle to approach it. For instance, a mother would like to share her knowledge of children’s upbringing. But there are thousands of blogs devoted to this topic. So she might want to focus on educating bilingual children or raising kids together with pets.

It makes sense to check the most popular Google search requests and see what people are interested in. Then, the blogger-to-be should investigate the market to find out which niches are already occupied and which are empty yet.

They should plan in advance which type of content they can share: pieces of news, analytical articles, tutorials, statistics, and insights… Forums, where people ask questions, can serve as a good source of ideas. Besides, one can check the hottest hashtags on Twitter to discover trends and topics that generate demand.

How To Get Traffic To Your Blog?

A blog for profit needs to have a vast audience. Advertisers and partners want to collaborate with projects that attract thousands of viewers.

The easiest method of free promotion is collaborations with other online blogs. Newbies might think that all the people who write on the same topic are their competitors. But in fact, the members of the blogging community are very helpful. Many of them make special pages where they publish the links to the blogs they made friends with.

Another efficient approach suggests that the author should write about trending topics. They should check the news every day and select those events that fit into their theme. People will come across their posts when they are looking for updates on important news.

Viral content might work wonders too. It might be something funny, creative, and extraordinary. Or it might be a controversial discussion about an urgent problem. It should be highly emotional.

Paid advertising can deliver amazing results. But first, newbies need to learn how to target it, which should not take too much time. The simplest way to hone one’s targeting skills is to launch a paid campaign on social media. There, users can plan, fine-tune and analyze their advertising with the help of in-built tools.

Plus, they can create profiles on social media where they would share their posts. This will help them to get more organic readers and subscribers.

Newbies often worry about whether they will have enough time to create content. Promoting their blog and generating traffic for it will keep them permanently busy. But they can use the help of a paper writing service and rely on the assistance of professional writers. The readers can never tell whether it was the blogger or a hired specialist who wrote the post.

Ways Of Making Money As A Bloger

How to monetize a blog? The answer to this question is almost identical as to “How to make money with a web site?”.

There are agencies that facilitate connections between bloggers and advertisers. Famous authors get a chance to profitably collaborate with large brands. But for newbies, it is hardly possible to get a highly lucrative contract.

Acting independently, bloggers might earn a lot on advertorials. This genre is a cross between advertising and editorial materials. A brand pays the author, and they invent an exciting theme for an article. The text is interesting and informative, so readers genuinely like it. And it promotes the goods or services of the brand.

Besides, there are a few other sources of income.

Affiliate Marketing

This method suggests that the author adds links to their posts. Once a reader clicks on the link and makes a purchase, the blogger gets paid. Site owners need these links to expand their audience. E-commerce specialists ask bloggers to share their links because they want to sell more products.

Large e-commerce websites normally have their own affiliate programs. Also, those who are blogging for profit can join affiliate networks. There, thousands of services and brands share their links.

Some might wonder, “How to make money with a blog with such straightforward advertising?”. But the author should not insist that their readers should buy something. The audience values impartial reviews the most. People like it when the blogger weighs up the objective pros and cons of the product and shares their hands-on experience. So the link should not become a direct call to action. It should appear as the logical conclusion of a positive overview.

The goods or services that the links promote should be relevant to the content of the blog. For instance, it makes sense to give links to a print-on-demand service in a post about a hit novel. This will serve as a guarantee of good sales.

Banner Adverts

This answer to the question “How do blogs make money?” used to be popular a few years ago. Then, ad blocks became omnipresent. Still, banners are worth trying. To make their first steps in this field, newbies should register in Google AdSense.

There is no fixed place for ad banners. Most often, bloggers put them in the sidebars or on the top of the page. With the CPM (cost per thousand) model, they get paid for every 1,000 impressions the ad gets. With the CPC (cost per click) model, they get paid for every reader who clicks the banner.

How do websites make money if there is no demand for banners in their industry? They just skip this opportunity.

Sponsored Content

To use this source of income, money blogs should build a vast following first. Then, their owners will be able to publish sponsored content both on the site and on their social networks. The advertiser will send them the text and photos. The blogger themselves will not need to write anything — just post what they receive. Of course, this content should align with the usual theme and style of the blog. One can make very good money on it.

How To Win Money At Competitions

How To Win Money At Competitions

Although it is difficult to believe, many people obtain money, in a totally legal way, winning online competitions.

Regardless of whether these raffles and contests offer prizes in money or objects, what these people get can help them pay off debts, accumulate savings, have extra money for entertainment or investments, etc. With a few strategic moves and a lot of persistence, patience, and determination, you too could do the same and become a winner.

Who Is A Comper?

If you’ve ever entered some competitions online, you should know what a simple process this is. Obtaining an opportunity to win money doesn’t require a lot. Mostly you will just have to share your personal information and choose an answer to the question you’ll be asked.

‘Compers,’ on the other hand, take things a step further by attending hundreds of tournaments per week. They see it as a kind of hobby. They work on it for many, many hours a day and can earn thousands of dollars!

Everyone loves getting something for free, but if you want to achieve such a result we described above, it takes a large amount of effort and time. We hope you don’t feel intimidated or just share money saving tips; feel free to enter competitions online. Just make sure that you have enough persistence and you know your exact goals.

How To Become A Comper?

So how to win money? Professional compers claim to attend almost 100 competitions daily, but unless you wish to become a loner, forget about meetings with your friends and fail at your work or study, this should not be your goal.

As a more practical (but still challenging!) target, we propose joining about 20 tournaments per week. If you wish to give it a serious try and want to start getting results in free competitions to win money, keep in mind that it will take up a significant amount of your time.

Before you begin, make a spreadsheet to keep track of all the contests you participate in and the prizes you’ve won. This will save you time by preventing you from attending the same tournaments several times in a row, leading to disqualification.

The easiest method to earn some money from contests, whether these are the woman magazine competitions or TV quiz, is to adopt the attitude of seeing it as a career and take the steps below:

  1. If you decide to enter competitions, work on them for a certain number of hours per day.
  2. Create a personal method for keeping track of the tournaments you participate in
  3. Get a comping email address (we recommend using another provider so that you won’t have to sign in and log out).

Furthermore, since much of the prizes will come in the form of material goods rather than cash, they will not be sufficient to cover your expenses.

If you’re looking for a more consistent income source while at university, consider selling items online or taking on a part-time job, for example, at writing essay service.

How To Win Competitions?

This question interests all participants in absolutely any competition. If you want to learn how to win online contests, get ready for a severe list of tips.

Many people who find the announced money competitions get in a hurry. This is a huge mistake! First, you need to be very careful and:

  • Read the terms of the competition: Be sure to read the conditions of the competitions to enter carefully. If at least one of them is not met, your page will not be considered when summarizing.
  • Understand the timing: Pay attention to the duration of the competition. Check if it is still up to date or has already been completed. As a rule, the competition sites ask the contestants to share a post on their page before the estimated date of summing up the contest results.
  • Learn the procedure for applying for participation and requirements for the topic and content, in case you need to write a blog post or an article to win;
  • Evaluation criteria – Usually, the results are summed up using a unique program that will randomly choose a winner or, with the involvement of experts – a jury. To verify the results, the organizers of the draw take a video summarizing the results and post it on the Group page at the appointed time.
  • Description and photos of the prize: Be sure to check the availability and quality of the future prize photos. This allows you to make sure that the organizers actually have the gift; they are not going to deceive you. Good quality photos will show the gift from all angles.
  • At first, try your luck at competition websites that are pretty new and not famous yet, where the total number of participants will be no more than twenty.
  • Even if you win money competitions, don’t forget to analyze your experience (why you were awarded or not awarded first place, which tricks worked well and which ones were bad, what other participants did better, etc.)

Competitions To Avoid

We all want to win cash prizes. However, not all the opportunities we find are good enough for that. We have created a list of tips that will help you make sure the free entry competitions you are looking at are legit:

  • Choose tournaments hosted by brands you’re familiar with.
  • Secure your phone or PC by downloading antivirus software. Since you’ll be accessing several new websites every day that you might not have seen previously, this will assist you in checking their validity.
  • It would be best if you never had to pay to enter, except for the rare stamp to submit in your submissions.
  • Avoid all cash competitions that require dialing any number since you would most likely be left on hold for the time long enough for the scammers to earn money from you and increase your future phone bill.
  • Be skeptical if you see sites that promise «special» contest lists. You will just waste your money, and this is not what you wanted.

Where To Find Competitions

Сhoosing among competitions to enter, spend enough time to study their main features.

Rely on the following criteria:

  • The size of the admission ticket.
  • The size of the prize fund.
  • The principle of distribution of the prize fund.
  • Additional requirements.
  • Rules.

Facebook Competitions

Facebook is not one of the most accessible options with competitions to win money. Contest rules on Facebook are constantly changing, so it’s key to stay up-to-date.

For example, a requirement that Facebook used to ask was that contests be run in third-party apps. Currently, you can enter them directly on the platform through a standard publication on any Company or Group Page. So don’t forget to search for some comp groups in your city.

Most of the Facebook click and win competitions require likes and post sharing. So if you don’t want your feed to be flooded with such updates, think twice.

Similarly, Facebook no longer allows certain types of contests that have become very popular. (By “popular,” we mean those kinds of contests that have been overused and generate spam). So it would be best if you didn’t worry about redirecting to some competition sites because they have been verified.

Instagram Competitions

Companies and entities of all kinds are currently dedicated to exploiting the potential that social networks have to get new followers and potential customers. That is why thousands of contests with high chances for winning money are organized every day.

Use the Instagram search engine to find contests and prize giveaways using hashtags. The hashtags also have a Follow button to be aware of all the publications that are made under each of them.

Whenever you decide to participate in the online competition in Instagram, you can take into account the following tips:

  1. Check well the requirements to be a participant opted to receive the award.
  2. Make sure you pay close attention to the steps to participate.
  3. If you have multiple Instagram accounts, join with all of them.

Radio And TV Competitions

TV and radio competitions are still a decent way to get some extra money, but you will have to pay when you are on a phone line, and it can be an issue.

To maximize the odds of winning, try out the local stations since fewer entrants are normally expected. But don’t hope for the prizes equal to the national competitions.

Furthermore, many popular quiz shows are continuously looking for new guests.

CAN TOO MUCH HOMEWORK MAKE YOU PHYSICALLY ILL?

CAN TOO MUCH HOMEWORK MAKE YOU PHYSICALLY ILL?

In a recent study conducted by the Stanford Graduate School of Education, which surveyed more than 4,300 students from ten high-performing public and private high-schools, researchers found that excessive homework causes high-stress levels and physical health problems.

“We found a clear connection between the students’ stress and physical impacts – migraines, ulcers and other stomach problems, sleep deprivation and exhaustion, and weight loss,” said co-author Denis Pope.

The study was published in the Journal of Experimental Education, which also found that the average student was doing as much as five hours of homework per night.

According to the study, fifty-six per cent of students cited homework as a primary stressor in their lives, despite the facts that homework levels have remained relatively stable since 1984, the study goes on to report.

The study also found that academic pressure can lead to serious drug and alcohol abuse, depression, and anxiety. The reason: an enormous amount of pressure, including “family dynamics, peer norms, pressures at schools, and policies in higher education,” the report concludes.

With many pupils stressed about midterms and finals right around the corner, the pressure is for high achieving students to maintain their GPA levels and overall academic performance.
